We offer 13 NextReads newsletters for you to pick from: General Fiction, Mystery, Christian Fiction, Thrillers & Suspense, Genre Variety Pack, Graphic / Comics / Manga, History & Current Events, Home, Garden & DIY, Biography & Memoir, Healthy, Wealthy, & Wise, All Things Alabama, Picture Books, Kids’ Books, and Teen Books. Connect with fellow readers at one of our book clubs! They read and discuss a wide variety of multiple genre fiction and nonfiction books. Both of our adult groups meet on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30pm. Our Library Book Group meets in the Nan Abbott Room and our Books and Brews book club meets at Siluria Brewing Co.  Teens can join our teen led book club called Teen Chapter Chats. They meet every third Wednesday at 4pm in the Nan Abbott Room.

Valueline goes digital at your library

Our library has moved to a fully digital version of Valueline’s market research surveys. Now you can find their investment surveys and stock analyzers through a searchable database. No more thumbing through quarterly reports to find the stock you’re looking for. You can just type in the company name or ticker symbol to receive all the pertinent information about that stock as well as make comparisons between stocks before you invest.

Valueline covers 3,500 stocks across 100 industries representing 95% of the daily U.S. trading volume.
