Silent Auction
You are cordially invited to the Friends of the Library’s Silent Auction at the Albert L. Scott Library in the Nan Abbott Room on Sunday, December 3 from 2-4 p.m. Bidding will begin at 2 and end at 3:30. Winners will be announced by 4 p.m. Winners are not required to be present to win. Light refreshments will be offered, and a partial ensemble from Thompson High School Jazz Band will perform Christmas music. There will be several themed baskets to bid on as well as individual items. Upcoming Holiday Fun at the Library
Holiday Photo Shoot at the Library—Saturday, November 4 from 11-2
Come take your holiday photos at the library! The Friends of the Library are coordinating a photo shoot for the community; they will provide a seasonal backdrop, lighting, and props for photo ops. All you need to do is bring your camera. Santa will also be making an early appearance to take photos. Treats and mulled cider will be available, and each family will receive a gift. Please limit photo sessions to 15 minutes. No pets please.
Special Thanksgiving Story Time on Wednesday, November 22 at 10:15 a.m.
Hot Cocoa and Mr. Larry – Tuesday, December 5th
Hot cocoa will be served in the library parking lot at 5:15 -5:55 p.m., and Mr. Larry conducts the Magic of Christmas at 6:00 p.m. in the Nan Abbott Room.
Crafty Kids Club, Candies Christmas Trees—Wednesday, December 6 at 4 p.m.
Kids Holiday Party—Wednesday, December 13 at 10 a.m.
Toddlers and preschoolers are welcome to come for a morning of holiday fun. Several activity stations will be set up including cookie decorating, story time, and much more.
Evening with Santa—Thursday, December 14 at 6:15 p.m.
Come spend an evening with Santa as you share your wish list with him and enjoy a story.
Dolores Hydock—Sunday, December 17 at 2 p.m.
Story teller Dolores Hydock returns to share Christmas memories and stories. Refreshment will be provided.
Special Winter Break Story Times (all ages)—Wednesday, December 20 & 27 at 10: 15 a.m.
