Walk of Honor
A portion of the new Alabaster Police Department grounds will be dedicated to honoring Alabaster’s former police chiefs. The Walk of Honor will be next to the department’s fountain, and will recognize the following individuals:
William P. Hill (Chief of Police 1953-1956)
O. O. Lee (Chief of Police 1956-1957)
Thomas F. Snow (Chief of Police 1957-1958)
Thomas O. Fore (Chief of Police 1958-1962)
C. E. Carter (Chief of Police 1962-1967)
L. M. Atkisson (Chief of Police 1967-1971)
C. E. Carter (Chief of Police 1971-1985)
Larry R. Rollan (Chief of Police 1985-2001)
Stanley E. Oliver (Chief of Police 2001-2012)
Summer Interns
The city continued its internship program this summer with a fantastic group of high school and college students interning in several city departments over the past several weeks! They have all done amazing work, and we look forward to seeing them continue to succeed in the future.
